TWC Attend ("the App") is an internal employee attendance and human-resources application provided by The White Company ("we", "us", "the Company") for the exclusive use of its employees. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects only the information necessary to provide attendance and HR functions:

Account information: your work email and the employee record associated with your account (name, department, position, contact details) as stored in the Company's HR system.
Location data: your device's GPS location is accessed only at the moment you check in or out, in order to verify you are at an authorized work location. Location is not tracked in the background or stored continuously.
Attendance records: check-in and check-out times and the associated work location.
Device information: basic technical data (device type, operating system version) used for security and to diagnose technical issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

To record and manage employee attendance.
To verify check-in location against assigned work sites.
To display your profile, leave balance, and HR information.
To process leave and approval requests.
To diagnose errors and improve the App's reliability.

3. Location Permissions

The App requests access to your location only when in use, and only to confirm your presence at an authorized work location during check-in. You may decline location access; however, location-verified check-in will not function without it. The App does not share your location with any third party.

4. Biometric Authentication

If you choose to enable Face ID or fingerprint sign-in, authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The App never receives, stores, or transmits your biometric data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Attendance and HR data are stored on the Company's secured systems. Login credentials saved for biometric sign-in are stored in your device's encrypted secure storage and never transmitted in plain text. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

6. Data Sharing

Your information is used solely for internal Company HR purposes and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing. Limited technical error data may be processed by our error-monitoring provider strictly to maintain the App.

7. Data Retention

Attendance and HR records are retained in accordance with the Company's internal record-keeping policies and applicable labor regulations.

8. Your Rights

As an employee, you may request access to or correction of your HR information by contacting your Human Resources department.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is intended only for Company employees and is not directed at anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by the Company's internal channels.
